These photos are a mere glimpse at the destruction that Hurricane Helene made to Canoochee EMC‘s service territory in southeast Georgia. Two crews from Amicalola EMC have spent the past 9 days helping them restore power. Today, both of those crews joined our guys at Altamaha EMC as they continue their restoration efforts.
As we continue to pray for those affected by Hurricane Helene, areas along the west coast of Florida are bracing for Hurricane Milton. Although Milton is not forecasted to impact north Georgia, we stand ready in the event the storm’s path shifts. Join us in staying #WeatherAware at all times.
