We are down to 1604 members out, across parts of 6 counties. Right now, there are 3 larger outages in the western portion of our service area. 2 in Pickens in the Talmadge area and one just over the Gordon County line.
We were getting fairly close to restoring all power yesterday evening, when more storms came through taking another 6000+ meters with it. Some of the crews were able to work through the night and we are getting 10 more contractor crews in today to assist.
So far, we have identified and replaced most of the 16 broken poles we’ve found in the following areas:
HDQ:
McClain Mt Road
Fortner Road
Pearl Johnson (at least 2 broken poles)
Twin Mtn Lakes (at least 3 broken poles)
Beaver Ridge (possibly 2 broken poles)
Eastern District:
Nugget Ridge Road
Raffie Creek Trl Around Amicalola Church
Northern District:
Pettit Road
Big Buck Mtn
Little Rock Creek
