🌧️ Weather Update (12:30 PM) 🌪️

Attention, Lumpkin County residents! The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm warning for all of Georgia. Expect wind gusts of 39-57 mph, potential flooding, and thunderstorms. There’s a high risk for downed trees and power lines, which could lead to outages.
Rain and wind intensity will ramp up throughout the day, with sustained tropical storm winds expected in metro Atlanta around 3 AM and reaching north Georgia by 8 AM on Friday, September 27.

Remember – If you or your loved ones depend on medical equipment that requires electricity, work with your healthcare providers now for a back-up plan in the event of a power outage.
