To be eligible for the scholarship, high school seniors must live in a household where Amicalola EMC supplies their power. Scholarship winners are chosen based primarily on grade point average, SAT or ACT scores, and financial need. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025. Those that apply are required to include a transcript.

Amicalola EMC will choose 4 high school juniors to represent our service area on the 2025 Washington Youth Tour, a prestigious youth leadership program in Georgia. Delegates from around the state enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. Along with this experience, Amicalola EMC delegates will also receive a college scholarship. The 2025 Washington Youth Tour will take place June 13-20. To be eligible for this opportunity students must live in a Amicalola EMC household. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025.
