Pole inspections taking place in Pickens County

Amicalola EMC, and other utility companies, routinely perform power pole inspection and maintenance programs.  This is done to reduce replacement costs, extend the life of the poles and to increase the safety and reliability of the electric system. Please don't fall victim to a scam!

We've had a report that a consumer received a telephone call from someone asking for a debit card number so they could process a refund because of the recent outages. It was not us. Amicalola EMC will never call you and ask you to provide your debit card number over the phone. If you receive a suspicious phone call, hang up immediately. If you want to verify anything about your account, please call Member Services at 706-253-5200 and follow the prompts.
