The Cooperative Difference

We’re thankful for the gift of your membership! Amicalola EMC’s members are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to power your holiday season.

Keeping the lights on is vital for local communities, the economy and our national security. Electric co-ops are champions of reliability and advocate energy policies that promote reliability and affordability for all. #PoweringTomorrow

Helicopter Tree Trimming Along Highway 108 and Highway 20

Keeping the right of way clear is a big part of keeping the lights on for our members. While Agricultural Air Services will handle the trimming and road control, Amicalola...

Powering Stronger Communities

Electric co-ops are built by and belong to the communities they serve. As we innovate to meet tomorrow’s energy needs, our focus on people instead of profits leads to stronger rural communities. #PoweringTomorrow

Giving Tuesday

The average co-op member donates about $6 a year. That doesn't seem like much, but once combined with over 45,000 members it adds up to make a significant impact. Where do those donations go?...
